Connecting an account

In Add Channel, choosing TikTok opens TikTok's own authorization screen through Login Kit. You sign in as yourself on TikTok and approve the permissions there; MiSFY Studio never sees your TikTok password. Once authorized, the channel appears in your workspace under your own handle and avatar, and can be selected in the composer.

Permissions requested, and why

user.info.basic	Reads the basic profile of the account you just authorized — open id, display name and avatar — so the channel is labelled with your own handle in the workspace and a post can be targeted at the right account.
video.upload	Sends a scheduled video to your TikTok inbox as a draft, so you can add the finishing touches and post it from the TikTok app.
video.publish	Posts a scheduled video directly to your profile when you choose direct posting, using the privacy level you selected for that post.

No other TikTok data is requested. MiSFY Studio does not read your followers, your inbox, your analytics or anyone else's content.

Every post is your choice

• Publishing only ever happens to accounts you authorized in your workspace.
• The privacy level is chosen per post in the composer, from the options TikTok reports as available for your account. It is never defaulted silently.
• Direct post and draft-to-inbox are both offered; you pick which one each post uses.
• Creator information — for example whether your account can currently post publicly — is fetched from TikTok at compose time so the options shown match your account's real state.

Disconnecting

Removing the channel in MiSFY Studio deletes the stored access token for that account, and scheduled posts targeting it stop. You can also revoke MiSFY Studio from TikTok directly, under Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions. Deleting your workspace removes the connected channels along with it.
